Catering for residential homes, wineries and hospitality venues, our lead funnel is either direct to the homeowner/wine enthusiast, or via architects, interior designers and high-end builders.
We’re expanding our UK sales function and seeking a proactive Business Development & Sales Manager to drive B2B growth with architects, designers and homeowners, as well as manage part of our inbound client enquiry pipeline.
This role blends outbound relationship-building with strategic nurturing of qualified leads. Perfect for someone commercially savvy, with a grounding in a construction related trade, architecture or interior design. The candidate will be confident and motivated to convert high-value conversations into projects.
Your Role
* Build and maintain strong relationships with UK architects, interior designers and specifiers
* Create relationships with home and business owners and secure sales of Cellar Maison products into residential and hospitality projects across the UK
* Attend design, wine and related networking events, showroom meetings and industry functions as needed
* Nurture a segment of our inbound enquiries, qualifying and guiding clients through our product options, and converting leads into sales, and maintaining relationships.
* Collaborate with our internal team to ensure a seamless handover to design & technical teams
* Become a confident ambassador for Cellar Maison’s Bespoke Wine Rooms, Climate-Control Systems and Configurable Series Wine Racks
* Analyse market and establish competitive advantages
* Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
What You Bring
* Experience in B2B or consultative sales, ideally in high-end interiors, property or design sectors
* Confidence engaging both trade professionals and private clients
* A self-starting approach - you know how to follow up, follow through, and close
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to keep records and effectively using a CRM/data base
* A personal network in the design or property industry (an advantage but not essential)
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
* A genuine appreciation for craftsmanship, design, and client experience
* General understanding of construction practices, and willing to learn the fundamentals of wine storage
