Join our clients friendly and well-established residential property team as a Legal Assistant. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual with a passion for conveyancing and excellent client care.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit quotes to clients
* Handle queries from clients, solicitors, lenders & estate agents
* Open/close files and ensure compliance with AML, SRA and CQS standards
* Submit SDLT applications and generate tax calculations
* Carry out online searches and use the Land Registry portal
* Monitor case progression and provide regular client updates
* Draft and submit bills, receipts and payments to the finance team
* General administrative support and occasional reception cover
Requirements
* Experience as a conveyancing/legal assistant preferred
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Good understanding of the conveyancing process
* Familiarity with case management software
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
