Overview
Working within the Technology team and reporting to the Technical Manager, the Systems Security Analyst will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems security for the organisation. This is a strongly collaborative role, working with the Technical Manager, Head of Technology and the Service Desk Manager to support the Museum in delivering existing technologies to users while ensuring cyber security safeguards are maintained. The successful candidate will be the source of the Information Security expertise and guidance at Royal Museums Greenwich.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Royal Museums Greenwich cyber security systems, processes and controls, including monitoring and assessment of the response to alerts and escalation of cyber issues as appropriate.
* Work with third party providers to ensure contracted services are monitored and delivered in accordance with agreed standards.
* Oversee security aspects of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (M365), ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
* Analyse and monitor Royal Museums Greenwich data security risks and work proactively with colleagues to implement appropriate responses to mitigate impacts.
* Apply experience with InfoSec technologies, threat management and remediation to protect systems and data.
* Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft stack technologies, including Defender, AAD (Azure Active Directory), and Enterprise Apps with conditional access.
* Identify threats and develop appropriate protection measures (minimum three years of relevant experience).
* Maintain knowledge of relevant data security standards and protocols relating to the public sector; work effectively with managed suppliers and vendors.
* Commit to a high level of customer service and provide evidence of delivering it; review system changes for security implications and recommend improvements.
Requirements

Employment Details
* This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists.
* Core hours: 36 per week, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed with management.
