Digital Process Designer | 9056 | Temporary Contract/Secondment Opportunity until 30th November 2027 | 37 hours per week | £37,280 – £39,152 per annum | Scale I | Norwich

About The Role

We’re seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our Digital Customer Experience team at Norfolk County Council as a Digital Process Designer. The purpose of this role is to develop and support NCC’s digital platforms that allow customers to engage with us digitally (contact us, request information, complete transactions/payments, report issues) and for tasks to be passed to back‑office teams as easily and efficiently as possible. This role is ideal for someone with strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills who can help drive digital service improvements from development through to deployment. You’ll be instrumental in managing the flow of work across teams, ensuring that digital processes are signed off, deployed, and transitioned into live service smoothly. While some technical understanding is needed, your ability to manage stakeholders, coordinate deployments, and govern sprint boards will be key.


Key Responsibilities

* Design, map and document digital processes that meet user needs.
* Coordinate stakeholder engagement to unblock work and ensure smooth approvals.
* Manage deployment planning and execution for digital services.
* Oversee sprint board governance and ensure tasks progress through delivery stages.
* Support service teams in transitioning digital processes into operational use.
* Collaborate with technical colleagues and suppliers to ensure integrations are tested and deployed effectively.
* Contribute to user acceptance testing and final sign‑off processes.


What We’re Looking For

* Understanding of end-to-end digital customer processes and best practice.
* Strong project administration or coordination experience.
* Excellent stakeholder and service management skills.
* Familiarity with agile delivery methods and sprint board tools.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and drive work forward.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
