Position Overview
We are currently looking for a rehabilitation assistant to join our well‑established multidisciplinary team within Therapy and Rehabilitation Services at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Central London.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with varying abilities in performing practical aspects of personal and daily life under the supervision of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
* Support patients in stroke, neuro‑rehabilitation, acute neurology and neuro‑surgery areas on a rotational basis.
* Work within the multidisciplinary team, maintaining a mature and organised approach.
* Participate in regular supervision and support for professional development.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Initiative, organisational skills and a mature approach.
* Good general education.
* Previous experience in a healthcare or community care environment (essential).
* Effective communication skills and a positive approach to managing complex disabilities.
