Job Title: Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) Skip Driver – Holiday Cover
Location: Fife
Pay: £14.50 with accrued holidays or £16.25 with advanced holidays
Sector: Metal Recycling
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) Skip Driver to provide holiday cover for one of our clients based in Fife. This role involves transporting and exchanging RoRo skips at a busy scrap metal facility and surrounding customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering, collecting, and exchanging RoRo skips safely and efficiently
2. Ensuring all loads are secured and compliant with regulations
3. Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
4. Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records
5. Providing a professional and courteous service to clients
Requirements:
6. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
7. CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
8. Previous RoRo or skip experience preferred
9. Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
10. Strong work ethic and reliability
