We are currently recruiting for our client who is currently partnering on a large-scale fire safety programme and is seeking an experienced and competent self‑employed Fire Door Inspector to support a high-volume inspection project in Manchester.
This is a substantial contract covering approximately 3,500 fire doors, with strong potential for further works for the right individual.
Key Details
* Inspecting 50‑60 fire doors per day
* Working hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
* Must be familiar with surveying programmes including OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, RiskBase etc
* Day‑rate: £275-£300 (dependent on experience)
* Fortnightly payments
* Imminent start
Requirements
* Proven experience inspecting fire doors
* Must hold appropriate fire door inspection qualifications – demonstrable by certification
* Competent using different surveying programmes OneTrace, Bolster, Boris, RiskBase etc
* Self‑employed / freelance status
* Reliable, efficient, and able to work to programme deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and compliance standards
