Account and Bid Executive
Location; Bishopstoke

I am looking for an ambitious Account & Bid Executive, an exciting opportunity, this is working for one of the world leaders in Cable Manufacturing, we bring power and communications throughout the world, supplying to a range of industries and customers across energy, telecoms, and systems.
This role would suit an ambitious, enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated, the role works specifically in the HV Systems Commercial team.
Your role will be supporting customer enquiries and managing tenders, which can range from the simple supply of cables and accessories through to complex turnkey contracts involving civil works, cable installation, jointing works and commission testing.
Specific duties will include the following:
* Managing the complete tender process from enquiry to tender submission through to order capture
* Acting as single point contact for all internal and external communication on tenders
* Determining bid tactics and pricing of offers
* Collating technical, operational, and commercial information as part of the preparation of any tender submission.
* Evaluating options to provide optimised project solutions
* Undertaking post tender discussions and contract negotiation with the customer
* Tracking major projects in the UK marketplace
* New business opportunities and long-term customer relationships
Experience Required
Previous experience in a similar commercial role
Previous Sales or Account Management Experience
SAP preferred or Microsoft Project Experience
Degree in similar discipline
A proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.
Strong commercial acumen
Effective communication skills
