Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Acute Inpatient Physiotherapist to join a busy NHS hospital service in Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients across a varied acute caseload.
The postholder will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients within acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards. You will play a key role in discharge planning, mobility assessments, and promoting patient independence and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute and complex conditions
* Work across acute medical, surgical, and elderly care wards
* Contribute to discharge planning and onward referrals
* Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Support junior staff and students where required
Requirements
* HCPC registered Physiotherapist
* Minimum of 6-12 months UK NHS experience
* Previous experience working in an acute inpatient setting
* Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
