Role: Finance Assistant – Accounts Payable
Sector: Creative Agency
Location: Farnham (office working encouraged, hybrid working permitted but would assume 4 days in office)
Salary: £28,000-32,000 pa

VisionFR is seeking a Finance Assistant (with AP focus) to join a highly motivated and dynamic team in this well established and growing brand experiential agency creative. This position is a great opportunity to join a vibrant company.

Reporting to: Finance & Commercial Director

Either up and coming in the accounting world or already with accounting experience, you'll be capable of looking after the transactional aspects of a busy purchase ledger including data input, transactional postings, generating reports or helping out with month and year end reporting; your ability to manage multiple tasks day-to-day and using your initiative to make improvements to enable our growth, make you a valuable asset to the finance team.

Below are some of the things required from this role:

Specifics:
You will run the full purchase ledger function, from posting invoices through to making payments, posting cash and reconciling afterwards.
You undertake all transactional tasks including expenses, credit and pre-paid cards, petty cash etc.
You run creditor reports and stay in control of our financial spending, ensuring accurate information is entered into our reporting structures.
You look after the administrative tasks too, from running shared emails to filing to monitoring projects and suppliers. You'll get everything set up correctly and make sure everything's ready to go in our systems.
You get stuck in with the month end process, assisting the Finance Team with a wide range of tasks as necessary.
You deal with any ad-hoc finance queries in a professional and timely manner.
You're a people person, liaising with the wider team ensuring purchase orders, approvals and time bookings are in place.
You actively look to improve systems and processes to ensure our operations are efficient.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
You're ready to hit the ground running and can handle a fast paced environment. Experience of working across multiple projects is a plus
You're cool under pressure and keep a level head when the workload is high.
You're super organised and have fantastic attention to detail, can make improvements and see your ideas through to completion.
You have great emotional intelligence, are reliable, trustworthy and have excellent communication and time management skills.
You possess outstanding work ethics, integrity and professionalism.
You have the confidence to challenge as appropriate.
You have a good working knowledge of financial packages such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Sage 50 (Procim experience would be great but not essential)
