Registered Manager - Children's Residential
Location: Blaenau Gwent
Salary: Up to £50,000
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children's residential home in Blaenau Gwent. You will oversee the home's operations, ensuring compliance and delivering trauma-informed care for young people with complex needs, including Autism, EBD, and CSE risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage high-quality care in line with Welsh Government standards
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, RISCA, and inspection frameworks
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Officer and oversee safeguarding practices
* Recruit, supervise, and develop staff to maintain a skilled team
* Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and restorative justice
Essential Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Health & Social Care (essential)
* Registered with Social Care Wales and DBS Update Service (preferred)
* Minimum 2 years' management experience in a children's home (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, RISCA, and HR procedures
* Full UK Driving Licence
