This is a fantastic job for someone who wants to be part of a team and work collaboratively within our Operations department to uphold the highest standard of work and reputation.
This suitable candidate must have at least 1 year experience in a similar role and in managing a front of house/reception area and a telephony system/switchboard.
Duties
Updating company mobile, internal telephone lists as and when necessary
Ensure reception area is kept tidy and presentable at all times.
Answering all incoming calls with 4 rings, take down detailed accurate messages for staff as and when necessary.
Assist with auction day switchboard duties on auction days.
Welcome and greet all visitors, ensuring all visitors sign in and out of the building.
Coordinate and manage the booking of meeting rooms via outlook calendars.
Arrange couriers and taxi's when requested.
Liaise with suppliers in reception, and deal with deliveries as and when needed.
Monitor and direct contractors onsite in the office.
Franking outgoing post at the end of day, dealing with special postal requirements accordingly.
Composing outgoing post/DX electronic table record.
Monitor incoming emails with reception, taking ownership and using initiative of the issues arising from emails and act accordingly.

Intermediate level in the use of Microsoft Office 365 products i.e. Word, Outlook, Excel and OneNote.
Database experience with using Riskwise, to oversee risks, action accordingly.
Enthusiastic and good all-rounder that is prepared to help others and willing to learn new systems quickly.
Intermediate knowledge of Zoom Switchboard System, both headset and software installed on reception desktop.
Proactive and team player.
Willing to work overtime as and when requested to meet tight deadlines.
