Euroclear’s securities lending programs maximize yield for lenders while providing liquidity and settlement efficiency for borrowers. The programs encompass two core services: Euroclear’s strategic‑driven GCA (Global Collateral Access) lending program and its settlement‑driven SLB Autoborrow program.
Role
* SLB/AutoBorrow: contribute to the product roadmap and pricing strategy, including commercial proposals, business cases, and stakeholder alignment.
* GCA Front Office: exchange insights on borrowing demand, specific borrower opportunities including pricing aspects.
* Sales & Relationship Division: work with Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to ensure effective product roll‑out and visibility.
* Product Business Analysts and Application Domain Management: engage and collaborate with the relevant teams for efficient project management and on‑time IT delivery.
* Operations: provide the necessary support to ensure proper function of business as usual, including the management of any escalations.
* Incident Management: take ownership of operational incidents and recalls, ensuring service continuity and effective client communication.
* Regulation: contribute to Euroclear’s T + 1 operational‑day redesign for both SLB and GCA products.
* Coordinate regulatory and legal work related to securities‑lending requirements and the onboarding of new asset classes, ensuring product, operational and legal alignment. Ensure the legal framework and documentation remain up to date.
* Banking and Credit: develop an understanding of Euroclear’s risk framework and collateral schedules to assess opportunities for business growth.
* Develop data‑led decision‑making through KPIs, analytics, and business opportunity identification.
* Audit and Risk Management: ensure an accurate and efficient control framework at all times.
Product & Analytical Skills
* Demonstrate product‑management capabilities (roadmaps, pricing, business cases).
* Interpret market data, identify trends, develop business cases and build actionable insights.
* Formulate and drive strategies forward.
* Problem‑solving: navigate complex challenges and make strategic decisions based on a comprehensive understanding of facts to address complex issues.
Market Infrastructure
* Understand securities lending, settlement cycles, liquidity, and recall processes.
* Translate market and regulatory changes (e.g., T + 1) into operational and product impacts.
Operational & Risk Awareness
* Navigate operational escalations and cross‑team dependencies.
* Have insight into settlement flows, credit/liquidity considerations, and operational‑day design.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
* Good communication and alignment skills across multiple stakeholders (Ops, IT, Trading, Risk, Legal, Commercial).
* Build and maintain an extensive and influential professional network and foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
