We are a firm of accountants based in Newlyn seeking an accounts assistant/manager to join our friendly team. Full time and part time positions will be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of service to our varied portfolio of clients.
Your Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of financial statements and tax returns
* Prepare VAT returns
* Bank & control account reconciliations
* Payroll
* General book-keeping

What we are looking for:
* Experience in an accounts preparation and tax returns
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to manage day to day responsibilities efficiently and independently
* Preferably knowledge and experience of accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero
* Friendly and approachable with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
