Position Summary
The Human Capital Associate role based in London is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for driving strategic human resources initiatives across the United Kingdom and Europe (UK & EUR), with a specific focus on manpower planning, human capital administration, and payroll. This role encompasses HR strategy, compliance, and employee relations, tailored to the UK & EUR landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of UK & EUR labour laws, coupled with a strong track record in implementing effective HR strategies to support business objectives.
Key Accountabilities, Qualifications & Area of Experience
* Strategic HR Partnership: Assist the Head of Human Capital – UK & EUR in executing regional strategy, providing actionable counsel to business partners, and ensuring HR initiatives align with Group goals regarding profitability, customer experience, and people development.
* Synthesize workforce data into high‑level reports for stakeholder meetings to drive informed strategic decision‑making.
* Talent & Administrative Operations: Manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and off‑boarding, to ensure a high‑quality candidate and employee experience.
* Oversee regional administrative functions, including health and safety coordination, resource provisioning, and secure maintenance of personnel records.
* Ensure full compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR) throughout all administrative processes.
* Payroll & Compliance Management: Lead the monthly payroll cycle for UK & EUR operations, ensuring precision in wage calculations, tax reporting, and statutory deductions.
* Act as the primary liaison with external payroll providers to address discrepancies, manage fiscal year‑end processes, and submit regulatory documentation.
* Monitor evolving labour laws and payroll regulations across the UK & EUR to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
* Employee Relations & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff, offering expert guidance on policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
* Proactively manage employee relations matters to maintain a positive work environment while mitigating risk in accordance with UK & EUR labour laws.
* Digital Transformation & Analytics: Drive HR operational efficiency by leveraging HRIS technology and process automation initiatives.
* Analyze workforce metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights that support long‑term strategic planning.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
* At least 3 to 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with exposure to operating in a regional or multi-site capacity.
* Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a multinational organization operating in UK & EUR.
* Strong knowledge of UK & EUR labour laws, regulations, and cultural dynamics, with a focus on UK employment law.
* Experience overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with UK payroll regulations.
