Position: Receptionist Department: Front of House / Customer Services Reports to: Dealership Manager / Service Manager Ribbleton, Preston Overview The Dealership Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the dealership. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing a warm welcome, managing enquiries efficiently, and coordinating appointments for vehicle sales, servicing, and warranty repairs. The Receptionist supports both the Sales and Service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Customer Service Greet all customers and visitors promptly and professionally upon arrival. Provide friendly, helpful assistance and direct customers to the appropriate department (Sales, Service, Parts, Finance, etc.). Handle incoming calls, emails, and online enquiries, ensuring messages are relayed accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area and ensure dealership standards are upheld. Booking & Scheduling Manage and book vehicle viewings, test drives, and sales appointments for the Sales team. Schedule vehicles in for service, MOTs, diagnostics, and warranty repair appointments, ensuring accurate recording of customer concerns.
