Role Overview
As a Business Support Specialist – Security, you’ll play a key role in enabling the effective delivery of engineering and infrastructure programmes by providing essential business support services. Working within the Facilities Engineering team, you’ll help ensure that processes, systems, and governance are aligned to support operational performance and continuous improvement. Day‑to‑day, you’ll contribute to information management, governance, and business processes, while also supporting team leadership activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing guidance on security, governance and business processes within the Facilities Engineering function.
* Supporting information management, reporting and the production of management information across engineering teams.
* Assisting with the management and coordination of business support and administration services.
* Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering operations to ensure consistent and effective ways of working.
* Deputising for the Business Support Manager where required.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential Experience
* Strong experience using Microsoft Office applications in a professional environment.
* Experience working with document management systems and information processes.
* Demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience supporting business operations, administration or project environments.
Qualifications
* HNC in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience – Essential.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPPI) security clearance for this role.
