Role Title: Associate Scientist/ Research Technician

Rate: £15 per hour FT PAYE

Role purpose / summary
The Research Technician – mAbs is responsible for delivering results in developing and evaluating next-gen chromatography media.
This position reports to the Manager Applications & Analytics, and is part of the Fibro R&D department located in Stevenage and will be an on-site role.
What you'll do:
* Responsible for testing and reporting R&D samples for new membrane chromatography products.
* Write reports and submit data generated from various analytical methods.
* Provide support to ensure laboratory compliance to Environment Health & Safety regulations
* Be responsible for executing workload from multiple projects.
Key Skills/ requirements
* You will have a Master's degree in a bioscience-based subject
* You will have at least 1 year of experience using AKTA systems
* You will have experience working in a GLP/GMP Accredited lab
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* Preparing presentations and written reports to support decision-making in multifaceted projects
* Working in cross-disciplinary teams
* Use of SEC-HPLC or ProA-HPLC
