We are looking for a Full-Time Customer Service Specialist. This role involves providing exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound communications for Ferrellgas and Blue Rhino customers. You will work with both internal and external customers to ensure high-quality service and foster growth. Responsibilities
* Answer phones, chat, social media, or email politely and professionally.
* Maintain and improve business relationships with customers daily.
* Ask probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns.
* Accurately maintain and update account information.
* Apply next call avoidance techniques to reduce future questions.
* Schedule delivery orders and negotiate issues with new and returning customers.
* Handle general customer issues, including service order input, executing emergency scripts, closing uncontrollable loss accounts, providing contract information, and basic pricing questions.
* De-escalate customer situations following our complaint resolution policy.
* Send statements and invoices, perform soft collections on credit-hold or past-due accounts, and handle payments via phone.
* Assist with setting up new customer accounts.
* Meet or exceed performance standards outlined in company policy.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of customer service experience.
* Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
* Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and building positive rapport.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
* Legal authorization to work in the United States; applicants must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
