We are seeking a Lead Tutor to head up our new 9-week Skills Bootcamp in Income Generation & Diversification – a hands-on leadership programme for senior managers and organisational leaders across the creative & cultural sector. About the Programme The Skills Bootcamp supports participants to explore and implement new income streams through fundraising, commercial ventures, digital innovation, and strategic partnerships. Delivered in-person and aligned with real-world outcomes, the programme provides a practical foundation for financial sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking in organisations currently reliant on unreliable or dwindling funding and revenue streams. Role Overview As Lead Tutor, you will shape and deliver the programme's learning experience. Working closely with the MUTI Live team, you’ll lead sessions, support participant development, source and collaborate with specialist subject matter experts to co-design and co-deliver sessions in targeted areas (e.g. commercial revenue, digital products, fundraising strategies, partnership development). You’ll bring both facilitation / teaching and sector credibility to the role – guiding learners through complex, applied challenges while drawing on your own track record of successful commercial ventures in the creative, cultural industries or beyond. Key Responsibilities Develop the existing curriculum / schemes of work to ensure a rigorous approach to delivering what the sector needs. Lead the delivery of the 9-week Skills Bootcamp, facilitating engaging, high-impact, in-person sessions. Develop session plans, activities and materials in collaboration with MUTI Live and invited subject matter experts. Identify and liaise with subject specialists, coordinating their contributions to ensure alignment with overall learning outcomes. Create a supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, innovative & critical thinking and peer-to-peer exchange. Offer mentoring and feedback to participants as they develop practical income diversification plans. Contribute to the evolution of the programme through evaluation and reflection. Essential Criteria Proven experience in the creative / cultural sector, with a deep understanding of its funding structures, business models, and organisational challenges. A demonstrable track record of launching and leading commercially successful ventures, either within or outside the sector. Strong facilitation and group leadership skills, with a practical, participatory approach to adult learning. Experience of designing and delivering training or professional development to senior professionals or organisational leaders. Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills. Comfortable working with guest tutors or experts and shaping cohesive multi-voice learning journeys. Commitment to working within MUTI Live’s values and learning & evaluation quality frameworks. Desirable Familiarity with Skills Bootcamps. Knowledge of recognised training standards or frameworks from which to draw upon. Existing network of relevant subject specialists who could contribute to the programme.
