An asset processor is the first point of contact for any equipment that enters our processing facility, and they are responsible for its accuracy and movements throughout our warehouse and processes.
It is a true generalist role, and the postholder will be responsible for sorting assets into their necessary processing streams, asset detail capture for tacking through our WMS, the Asset processor will also be responsible for data wiping and quality checking of all IT equipment that enters the warehouse. The asset processor is responsible for diagnostic testing and grading of all equipment, ensuring it enters the correct inventory channels within our facility.
You will need to:
* Receive client assets and materials into our facilities and prepare for asset registration through our sorting process.
* Classify and record received assets onto our ERP system.
* Sort downstream materials such as cabling, batteries, and miscellaneous waste in line with company processes and storage guidelines.
* Carry out data sanitisation to assets strictly in line with processes and procedures.
* Test, audit and grade assets to prepare for Resale and Redeployment inventory.
* Diagnose, repair, and upgrade any assets, for reuse, were economical viable.
* Carefully prepare orders for shipment including picking, staging, and packing
* Ensure accuracy within your work and adhere to traceability procedures.
* Conduct project work as part of a team both at Vyta sites but also at customer sites as required.
* Undertake any other duties or as required, that are within the competence of the post holder and conducive to the effective delivery of the role.
* Conduct all activities with confidentiality and in accordance with the requirements of Data Protection Legislation.
* Ensure that you maintain up to date product knowledge and attend all internal training sessions as and when required.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures and demonstrate Vyta`s core values.
* Participate in company training activities as and when required.
* Participate in business improvement initiatives throughout the company.

Essential Criteria
1. Previous experience in a warehouse setting (at least six months)
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Excel
3. Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 'C' or above or equivalent (or higher). Including English language and Math related subject
Desirable Criteria
1. NVQ in Warehousing
2. Genuine interest in working with ICT equipment e.g. desktops
