This role supports BDO's largest business line, Audit & Assurance, in shaping, driving, and implementing business development and marketing activities. You will work with the Audit Executive and Business Development Manager to plan and execute initiatives that differentiate BDO from competitors, focusing on ROI and meaningful engagement with clients and targets.
The position is based in London, with occasional travel to other UK offices.
In this role, you'll:
1. Develop knowledge of the audit marketplace, including BDO's services and key propositions, as well as the competitive landscape.
2. Collaborate with partners to develop and deliver go-to-market strategies supporting sector and regional audit growth.
3. Coordinate with key sectors, regions, and service lines to ensure campaigns are issue-based and solutions-led.
4. Champion digital marketing channels and integrate them seamlessly into campaign management.
5. Promote the use of the CRM system and maintain data quality.
6. Ensure activities maximize efficiency, leverage content, and deliver ROI.
7. Support the MSC peer group in knowledge sharing, innovation, and leveraging national activities.
8. Manage projects for key events and thought leadership campaigns, utilizing MSC resources and securing specialist support.
9. Oversee website content, internal updates, and social media channels for timely, relevant content distribution.
10. Maintain high-quality sector credentials, bid, and marketing materials to support business development.
11. Support key client and targeting activities, report on progress, and recommend improvements.
12. Ensure stakeholders are aware of and utilize self-service tools for knowledge, business development, and client service.
13. Advise senior stakeholders, managing upwards and providing solutions.
14. Identify challenges proactively and present actionable recommendations to improve marketing and business development activities.
You'll be someone with:
* Experience in integrated campaign management within marketing.
* A strong understanding of business development activities and follow-up to increase ROI.
* Proven digital tools and social media skills.
* Best practice CRM usage.
* An understanding of client listening, key account management, and bids & pursuits.
* Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
