TikTok & Instagram Reels Video Specialist (Freelance)
I’m a doctor, clinic owner, and founder of a science‑led skincare brand with rapidly growing traction on TikTok and Instagram. I’m looking for a short‑form video specialist who truly understands how TikTok and Reels work – not just how to edit, but how content performs.
This is a hands‑on, creative role. You’ll film content with me, edit high‑performing short‑form videos, and help shape content that feels native, authoritative, and engaging.
This is not a generic social media manager role.
Key Responsibilities
* Film short‑form video content (iPhone is fine) during occasional in‑person sessions
* Edit TikTok and Instagram Reels optimised for retention, watch time, and saves
* Advise on hooks, pacing, structure, and delivery
* Create captions and on‑screen text aligned with platform best practice
* Stay up to date with TikTok and Instagram algorithm changes and trends
* Analyse what performs well and refine content accordingly
* Proven experience editing TikTok and Instagram Reels that perform well
* Strong understanding of short‑form video algorithms (hooks, retention, replay value)
* Excellent storytelling instincts for short attention spans
* Comfortable working with professional, educational, or expert‑led content
* Experience working with personal brands, experts, or founders
* Understanding of health, aesthetics, skincare, or education‑based content
* Ability to manage posting and scheduling (optional)
Qualifications
* Portfolio or examples of TikTok/Reels work essential
* of performance (views, engagement, growth) highly valued
