Financial Controller£70,000 - £80,000 + BonusAre you an experienced, autonomous and hands-on Financial Controller looking for a new opportunity in a leadership role? We’re partnered with a boutique advisory firm in London as they are looking to hire their next Financial Controller, taking responsibility for month-end, regulatory compliance and strategic support across the business.About the Company:

The Role:This is a key role within the firm, supporting both the daily operations and long-term financial health. You will manage financial systems, oversee regulatory and secretarial compliance, and provide detailed performance reporting to the partnership. You will work closely with external accountants and internal teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial matters.Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain bank accounts and oversee daily and monthly cash management
* Prepare and maintain cashflow forecasts, monitoring liquidity across the business
* Produce monthly management accounts, assisting with budgeting and reporting
* Process and reconcile staff expenses, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns and manage annual returns for the LLP and affiliated entities
* Liaise with external accountants on payroll, tax filings, and statutory accounts
* Manage PI insurance schedules and supporting annual renewals
* Maintain company books and statutory registers for all related entities.
* Prepare and submit FCA regulatory returns, coordinating with internal stakeholders
* Liaise with corporate service providers for any non-UK entity obligations
The Ideal Candidate:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with at least 2 year’s PQE
* Previous experience in a professional services environment
* Hands on and autonomous Financial Controller, comfortable in taking complete ownership of the finance department
* Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced skills in Excel
* Strong commercial skills with the ability to engage and influence at Partner level
* Passionate about developing within a firm that’s established, growing and looking to scale
