We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainer to join the External Training team during an exciting period of growth. The role will involve planning and delivering training courses within your responsible skillset, helping to transform the lives of our colleagues and customers by ensuring colleagues are inspired and developed to be the best they can, while delivering a world-class service and training product offering to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Delivery of training courses, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies
2. Identify training courses that could be offered directly or indirectly
3. Develop, review, and maintain training course material as required
4. Help to coordinate and manage activities that affect operational training requirements
5. Provide product and compliance training to colleagues within the business
6. Manage and maintain the condition of the training environment such as materials, equipment, and facilities
7. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers throughout Sunbelt Rentals to achieve company objectives
8. Provide technical assistance as and when required to both colleagues and customers
9. Achieve revenue, cost, and profit targets
10. Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
11. Represent the company and values of the business at all times
12. Ensure company procedures are followed at all times

To succeed as a Trainer, you will bring the following skills and behaviors:
1. An experienced trainer capable of motivating and coaching colleagues and customers
2. Ability to deliver training courses to the specified level
3. Ability to deliver confined space training
4. Knowledge of Health and Safety, Training, and training accreditation standards
5. Knowledge of courses such as IPAF, PASMA, Ladder Association, Confined Space, CITB, C&G, and plant training
6. Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to coach, present, and influence stakeholders
7. Commercial awareness and business acumen, including financial and budget management skills
8. Results-driven attitude
9. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate resources effectively
10. Good IT and analytical skills
