Job Description

38.25hrs per week; shift schedule: Monday 07:00‑15:00, Tuesday 08:00‑16:30, Wednesday 12:00‑20:30, Thursday 08:00‑16:30, Saturday 07:00‑15:00.

Effective Operations Manager supporting the Store Manager by overseeing all stock and operational processes for stockroom/warehouse, security and offices. Lead and inspire the team to maximise sales, drive efficiencies, and achieve performance targets.

About the Role

* Support Store Manager by providing leadership and inspiring team to be at their best.
* Create an environment focused on delivering service, achieving targets, and maintaining accurate stock.
* Ensure store meets all legal and compliance requirements for assigned areas.
* Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures when required.
* Manage man‑hour control expectations to keep processes effective.
* Demonstrate hands‑on approach in operational and commercial activities.
* Show resilience during change, welcoming feedback to drive results.
* Ensure security staff are utilised effectively and procedures adhered to.
* Address training, development, and recruitment needs at a high standard.


About You

* Excellent communicator; approachable under pressure.

* Multi‑tasker able to plan, organise and prioritise workload.
* Flexible with working hours and willing to work reasonable additional hours, public holidays and Sundays.

In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates must evidence right to work in the UK before commencement of employment. Sufficient evidence is required for the Skilled Worker visa to be considered.
