Position Overview
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house clinical team at Chestnut Hill School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent, or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working and will hold an occupational therapy caseload with full support from your designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver OT assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs.
* Hold and manage a clinical caseload within the education setting.
* Collaborate with the education team and multi‑professional colleagues as guided by the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working.
Qualifications
* BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration
* Registered member of RCOT
* Relevant experience providing OT services within a similar setting is preferable.
* Experience engaging with neurodivergent and/or learning or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties in any setting, with evidence of transferable skills.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated speciality preferred.
* Ability to work independently, be flexible and confident.
* Clear and concise report‑writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence, with access to a car.
