My client, a top international law firm, is actively looking for an experienced Information Governance/Records professional to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Information Governance Specialist.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Information Governance Manager in London, as well as having regular communication with the InfoGov team in the US. You’ll contribute to the overall strategy and execution of the Information Governance Program.
As the successful Specialist, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Performs file release and intake, coordination with UG leads, Lawyers, IT staff and external parties
* Advising on aspects of the departure process
* Analysing data, developing remediation strategies for unstructured data organised by client data
* Advise firm personnel on appropriate locations where client and firm data should be stored
* Drive changes needed in working practices and law firm culture, to accelerate the adoption of electronic recordkeeping
* Auditing information governance and record management processes and procedures

To be considered for this Specialist opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
* Ideally, have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a law firm
* Have information in information governance related systems
* Have functional experience in information governance principles in relation to managing/protecting/securing client matter information
* Be experienced in MS Office
* Have experience with systems such as iManage and/or LegalKEY
* Ideally, have a qualification relating to Information Governance/Records Management/Data Privacy
