About the role:
At Inpost, we’re seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to join our fast-paced parcels team based in Sandwell. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for the careful handling, sorting, and preparation of parcels to ensure they reach our customers quickly and safely. You’ll work closely with a motivated team, using your attention to detail and operational efficiency to keep the delivery process running smoothly.

📍 Location: Brades Road, Oldbury, West Midlands, B69 2RB
📅 Shift Pattern: 4on 4off
🕒 Hours: 12:00pm - 00:00am
💰 Salary: £27,456.00 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
* Receive and Record: Safely and accurately manage incoming parcel deliveries, verifying stock quantities and completing all necessary documentation.
* Pick, Pack & Load: Efficiently pick and pack customer orders, including manual case picking and full pallet orders, and load trailers to meet strict deadlines.
* Maintain Organization: Ensure the warehouse is well-organized by storing parcels correctly in designated racking systems.
* Safety First: Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, following all health and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
* Ensure Quality: Perform regular stock integrity checks to maintain product quality throughout the handling process.
* Housekeeping: Support general warehouse cleanliness by undertaking housekeeping tasks such as dusting and keeping gangways clear.
What we need from you:
* RTITB Accredited FLT Licence (Mandatory)
* Previous warehouse experience and a commitment to safety.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
* A proactive, professional approach to all tasks.
