This role involves operating CNC machines to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines, including milling, 4th axis milling, turning, Y axis turning to produce parts according to specifications.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to set up and program machines effectively.
Perform tooling changes and adjustments as necessary to maintain production efficiency.
Conduct quality checks using measuring tools to ensure components meet required tolerances.
Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and minor repairs.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the machining process.
Finishing parts ready for final sign off inspection prior to delivery to the customer.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Fusion and Alphacam CAD software for design interpretation, preferable but not essential.
Strong understanding of machining processes, including milling, 4th axis milling, turning, Y axis turning.
Familiarity with tooling, mechanical systems, and basic mathematics for precise measurements.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
