Following a recent restructuring within Operational HR, we are in a transformative phase, offering opportunities to grow and shape the future of our HR services. Working within a fast-paced hospital setting, you will support a diverse workforce, including clinical and non-clinical teams, helping to create a positive, supportive, and high-performing workplace.

The role is key in delivering high-quality HR services, supporting staff across the organization to achieve outcomes aligned with the Trust's values, enabling them to provide outstanding patient care.
We operate a hybrid model of on-site and home working.

Main duties of the job
As Senior HR Advisor, you will build relationships with HR and the wider People team, business leaders, stakeholders, and trade union colleagues. You will embrace change and take accountability to deliver a comprehensive HR service, applying your senior HR knowledge to business challenges. You will review and develop HR policies, procedures, and practices, supporting managers and systems to enable efficient ways of working.
You will supervise and develop HR Advisors, providing leadership and driving continuous improvement by empowering, motivating, and inspiring the team to deliver excellence.
You should have up-to-date knowledge of employment law related to employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, and dignity at work matters within a large organization. You will identify interventions and solutions to minimize formal investigations and hearings. Knowledge of supporting organizational change/TUPE, along with line management or supervisory experience, is required.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential):
* Level 5 CIPD qualification, or a degree/equivalent in a relevant field, plus additional knowledge and experience at Post Grad Diploma level or equivalent
* Continuous Professional Development
Desirable:
* Member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
* Coaching qualification or training
Experience (Essential):
* Managing complex HR issues including sickness absence, capability, disciplinary, grievances, and hearings
* Analyzing difficult situations and providing effective solutions
* Knowledge of recruitment, terms & conditions, change management
* Advisory experience in HR
Desirable:
