About the Role
Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) is seeking a compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Carer to provide high-quality care to residents living independently within the RBLI Village, including Queen Elizabeth Court (QEC), Greenwich House (GH), and surrounding homes.
You'll play a vital role in promoting independence and wellbeing, supporting residents to remain active and engaged in their daily lives. This role involves both lone working across the Village and working as part of a team in our Assisted Living facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred care and support in residents' own homes
* Encourage independence and activity in line with RBLI's "promoting independence" policy
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in QEC and GH
* Uphold RBLI's values of respect, integrity, and compassion
Requirements
* Previous experience in care or support work (preferred but not essential)
* A caring and proactive attitude
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Excellent communication and time-management skills
* Willingness to undergo training and development
