Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of a full‑time Mechanical & Electrical Engineer within the Estate & Facilities Services Department based at Kent Police Headquarters, Maidstone. This challenging role requires triaging and analysing problems, making key decisions, ensuring statutory compliance, project management and financial control. Health and safety experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely in support of the Mechanical & Electrical Services Manager and the Estate Services & Facilities Services team as well as operational colleagues.
* Triage and analyse problems, make key decisions ensuring statutory compliance.
* Project management and financial control.
* Support coordinated work across different locations across the county.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of working in a building services environment.
* Professional qualifications and membership of relevant professional bodies.
* Evidence of health and safety experience.
Salary
The base salary is £50,370.00, with potential incremental increases within this salary band, up to a maximum of £56,889.00.
