As a Service Manager with us, you will lead from the front, ensuring high standards across training, compliance, technical performance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll play a key role in shaping our service delivery, supporting technicians, mentoring new starters, and driving operational and commercial excellence.
We are seeking a highly motivated and operationally experienced Service Manager to lead our dedicated service team.
In this critical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a network of 5 Team Leaders and 40 Service Technicians ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of pest control services across a high-performing division.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide strategic direction and daily leadership to a large, diverse team of Team Leaders.
* Drive exceptional service delivery performance across all KPIs, including SOS response times, contract fulfilment, and customer satisfaction.
* Manage service escalations, quality audits, technician performance, and regional patch planning.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including administration, stock control, training, and sales.
* Lead recruitment, training, probation, and performance processes for new and existing staff.
* Maintain control of materials, stock, and supplier management for the division.
* Champion best-in-class health & safety and regulatory compliance across the business.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in managing large, geographically spread service teams.
* A strong background in field operations, pest control, or a related service industry.
* Effective leadership skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and support senior-level colleagues.
* Sound commercial acumen with a focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
* Highly organised and confident managing multiple workstreams – from daily service operations to strategic planning.
* Proven experience in pest control management (BPCA Level 2 or RSPH equivalent)
* Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* A calm, professional manner under pressure.
