Your role
1. Develop and maintain web interfaces for ChEMBL, SureChEMBL, and UniChem
2. Assist in the development and maintenance of corresponding REST services
3. Adhere to established best practices in software development
4. Test services and identify any technical issues
5. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
6. Ensure all code is clear, concise, well-documented, tested, and stored in a version control system, dockerized, and deployed in Kubernetes using continuous integration (GitLab)

10. A degree in computer science, software development, or a related field
11. Several years’ professional experience involving front end development
12. Track record of delivered projects involving web interfaces
13. Proficient in JavaScript/Typescript web frameworks (Vue.js, React.js)
14. Understanding of the D3.js library
15. Experience in Python and/or other backend programming languages such as Java
16. Experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch and SOLR
17. Familiarity in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
18. Experience working with CI/CD environments, particularly GitLab
19. Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes

21. Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS
