I am seeking additional Speech and Language Therapists for part-time work in Broadstairs.
The Speech and Language Therapist role.
* Working at a Special School in Broadstairs
* 3 days a week, term time only (days flexible)
* 9 am-3.30 pm
* £300 per day
* Self-employed, on a subcontractor basis
Speech and Language Therapist experience
* Qualified therapists need to be flexible, enthusiastic, and have experience working in mainstream primary schools.
* Perhaps you work for the NHS and want to try being self-employed, or perhaps you want to top up your income with the flexibility of fitting around childcare or school runs?
Where will you be working
The therapist will work independently in school and liaise with the local NHS speech therapy service for pupils if required. They will need to work to a high standard, and their roles will include assessment, report writing, target setting, therapy, training TAs to carry out intervention programmes, as well as extensive liaison with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
The business arrangements
* I will handle all the business arrangements with the school.
* The therapist will need to be self-employed; I can offer support with this if needed. Work would be local to you, and there is plenty of work available if needed!
* You would have to be happy and confident to work alone within the school education team. You will be offered clinical supervision as well as personal support from a very caring boss! I am always available at the end of the phone or via email to help with any matters.
