We have an exciting role for a motivated individual to advocate for a high-quality Temporary Staffing service. This service provides a high quality, fit for purpose temporary workforce to ensure the safe staffing levels of the hospital and patient care is maintained.
The role will require commitment to engagement with staff and colleagues, supporting wellbeing and training for Bank workers. Strong customer service skills are essential to support recruitment and retention. This is a unique role that will allow you to connect with and support vital staff groups.
This is an exciting time to join the expanding Temporary Staffing Team, who work closely with a wide range of teams including Education, Human Resources, Recruitment and Trust wide Clinical Teams.
Main duties of the job
You will provide administrative support as part of the Temporary Staffing Department. You will assist with booking Bank and Agency workers across all staff groups in the Trust and with the ongoing recruitment and retention of the Trust's Bank workforce. You will promote the Temporary Staffing Bank as the incredible team that it is!
To succeed in this role you:

* Have experience in administration, patient care, or customer service.
* Have good computer skills and a confident telephone manner.

Person specification
Education, qualifications and training
Essential criteria
* 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language
* NVQ Level3 or equivalent in administration, business or similar field
Desirable criteria
* 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent
* ECDL or similar ICT qualification
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
* Recent and significant experience and success in administrative tasks.
* Ability to handle a large volume of phone calls/emails whilst coping with interruptions.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Working in a fact paced and responsive environment.
Desirable criteria
* Have worked within a medical recruitment, employment agency, human resources environment or equivalent experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Essential criteria
* Sound keyboard skills
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and the willingness to learn new packages or advance current skills.
* Evidence of effective communication skills both written and oral including a confident and effective telephone manner.
* Use of work-based computer systems.
Desirable criteria
* Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment checks and relevant legislation.
* Awareness or knowledge of Temporary Staffing issues, framework standards, agency compliance or NHSi agency regulations.
