Pine Park House is a 6 bedded residential respite unit for Adults with Learning Disabilities and associated Physical Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalised care to service users based on their individual care plans.
• Ensure care and services meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
• Administer prescribed medication under supervision.
• Safeguard vulnerable service users.
• Liaise with other professionals and agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with CQC standards and DCC policies.
• Ensure the safety and security of the premises, staff, and service users.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Report any concerns to the line manager.
• Mentor new staff during their induction process.
• Participate in meetings and contribute as necessary.
• Assist with domestic tasks and catering duties.
• Attend to the personal needs of clients during the night, ensuring their well-being and dignity.

Person Specification:
Essential:
• Willingness to study for NVQ2 in Care or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic IT skills.
• Numeracy and literacy skills.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding.
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a care setting.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Flexibility and adaptability.

Working pattern over a two week rolling rota as follows
Week 1
Thursday 10pm to 7am
Saturday 10pm to 7am
Week 2
Sunday 10pm to 7am
Wednesday 10pm to 7am
Hourly rate starting at per hour, rising to per hour after 2 increments, plus additional night duty enhancement of 1/3 per hour.
In addition, Saturday hours are paid at time and a half and Sunday hours at double time.
