Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent behavioural and pastoral support to pupils. As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with students who may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, or engagement in learning. You will help create a calm and structured environment where pupils feel supported, understood, and motivated to make positive choices. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support. Implement behaviour support strategies and intervention plans. Build strong, professional relationships with pupils. Support students during lessons and unstructured times. Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams. Requirements of Behaviour Support/Mentor: Previous experience in behaviour support, mentoring, or a similar role. Strong behaviour management and communication skills. A patient, calm, and consistent approach. Ability to manage challenging situations professionally. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
