A fast-growing organisation is strengthening its finance team and is now looking for an Accounts Assistant to play a key role in its day-to-day financial operations. This role sits at the heart of the finance function, supporting accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and smooth transactional processes. The Opportunity Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you'll gain hands-on exposure across transactional finance and month-end activity. The role offers variety, pace, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one. Key Responsibilities Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining ledgers Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries Supporting credit control and customer balance monitoring Assisting with bank reconciliations, payments, and cash tracking Supporting month-end close, including journals and accruals Assisting with management accounts, VAT, and audit preparation Maintaining accurate finance records and supporting ad hoc tasks What You'll Bring Experience in a finance or accounts-based role Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail Confidence using Excel and financial systems Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload Accounting software or multi-entity experience (desirable) Package Benefits Salary of 25,000 - 35,000, depending on experience Permanent, full-time position Broad exposure across the finance function Supportive environment with scope to learn and progress Why Apply?
