An opportunity has arisen for an Information Officer in in Children, Families and Justice service. The post holder (information officer) working three days per week will support the delivery of Children, Families and Justice (CFJ) Information Governance service ensuring the service meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018, and the statutory Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) codes of practice.
The post holder will support with the ongoing pressures on services due to the increased demand across all areas of information governance business including Subject Access Requests (SAR), Freedom of Information requests (FOI’s), managing and processing Data Breaches, the role also includes managing and processing of complaints to the service, responding to local and national Inquiries requests and supports with records management systems and the provision of guidance material for staff on GDPR related issues.
