Are you a confident, enthusiastic and resilient individual who can inspire children in the classroom and provide strong, consistent support as Behaviour Inclusion Lead?
This is a dual role which combines:
* Morning sessions: Supporting teaching and learning in Upper Key Stage 2 classrooms, working with individuals, small groups and the whole class to raise attainment and promote positive learning experiences.
* Afternoon sessions: Fulfilling the role of Behaviour Inclusion Lead, supporting pupils with behavioural and social needs and leading interventions to ensure all children have the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Establishing positive relationships with pupils and supporting them to reach their full potential
* Delivering targeted interventions for children at risk of exclusion or struggling with behaviour and emotional regulation
* Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality learning in UKS2
* Confidently covering the whole class in the teacher's absence, including during PPA time
* Writing and implementing behaviour plans and risk assessments
* Working with parents, external agencies, the SENCo and the Senior Leadership Team to promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
* Monitoring and recording behaviour-related data and reporting to senior leaders
* Acting as a role model, promoting the school's values and expectations at all times
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual who:
* Has experience working with children across the primary school range
* Is positive, approachable and resilient, with excellent communication skills
* Has a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to deliver targeted support programmes
* Can work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and flexibility
* Is confident in leading whole-class learning when required
* Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and equal opportunities for all
The total hours across both roles are 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time plus INSET days (Teaching Assistant Level 3: 18.5 hours; Behaviour Inclusion Lead: 18.5 hours).
