At TT Manchester, we’re looking for a hands-on Test Technician to join our Power Solutions division, where you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our products perform flawlessly. If you enjoy problem-solving, fault-finding down to component level, and working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, this could be a great fit for you.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the testing process, from sub-assemblies to final assemblies, helping to diagnose issues, improve designs, and support the introduction of new products.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Testing sub and top assemblies to support the manufacturing process
2. Diagnosing and analysing faults down to component level
3. Producing clear, accurate test reports and feeding results back into engineering
4. Supporting the Design and NPI teams by helping to develop test schedules for new products
5. Writing, reviewing, and improving test procedures
6. Designing and building bespoke test equipment
7. Assisting with Avionics Test and Environmental Test activities, when required

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
Core Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing power products, including both AC and DC systems, and a strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics to trace faults back to their root cause.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Manchester. You’ll be a proactive self-starter who’s comfortable working with minimal supervision and flexible to support the business byworking additional hours or shifts, when required.
