Support Worker positionHours: 17 hours per weekMondays 09:30-14:30Wednesdays 09:30-14:30Fridays 13:00-15:00Sundays 09:30-14:30Salary - £11,624.60 PALocation - ClactonAbout the Role:We are looking for a friendly, positive and active Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his own home and community.The gentleman has sight loss, asthma and reoccuring depression. He can, at times, experience hallucinations due to Charles Bonnet Syndrome. He is very creative, with interests in art and museums.
He can also play the guitar and piano.This is a supportive role which is community based.Responsibilities may include:Supporting with community activitiesProviding companionship and encouragementProviding guidance and support when out and aboutRequirements:A cheerful, positive and active personalitySomeone like-minded who enjoys art and being out in the communityFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)Reliable, supportive and respectful of independenceApplicants must have the right to work in the UK and reside within the Essex borough.
