Lead NPI for AVI Leak Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Inspection and Leak Detection Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of visual inspection and leak detection, with a proven track record of ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement best practices: Establish, document, and maintain best practices for visual inspection and leak detection processes.
* Technical guidance: Provide expert technical guidance and support to inspection teams, third parties and suppliers ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Test sets and control strategy: Lead review of test sets composition, test set sourcing, align validation and control strategies.
* Particle management: Provide guidance to teams with particle investigations, from characterization to forensic analysis and batch disposal.
* Training and development: Design and conduct training programs for inspection personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in visual inspection and leak detection techniques.
* Quality assurance: Oversee and ensure the quality and accuracy of inspection reports and findings with good knowledge of compendia, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
* Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process continuous improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaboration: Work closely with third party CMOS, engineering, AVI‑LT experts, maintenance, and operations teams to address inspection-related issues and develop integrated solutions.
* Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for action.
* Compliance: Ensure all inspection activities are conducted in accordance with relevant health, quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in visual inspection and leak detection, preferably in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, petrochemical, or food manufacturing industries.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in a relevant field.
* Experience with advanced leak detection technologies and methods.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Relevant certifications such as API 510, API 570, ASNT Level III in Visual Testing (VT), or equivalent.
* Proficiency in the use of inspection tools and technologies, including manual and automated visual inspection, non‑destructive testing (NDT) methods and leak detection equipment to conduct system risk assessments.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, write right, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences. Influencing skills.
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships across departments and third parties.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
