Professional Negligence Solicitor - Bristol
National law firm are seeking a litigation solicitor to join their growing claims team. You'll be part of a close-knit, supportive group tackling professional indemnity and broader liability matters.
This is a varied role ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex legal challenges and is keen to grow their expertise in a collaborative environment.
The role:
* Managing and developing a caseload of professional indemnity and liability claims
* Liaising with insurers and brokers, including reporting and attending meetings
* Supporting cyber, data breach, and business continuity matters
* Advising internal stakeholders and providing operational support across the business
* Collaborating with risk and compliance teams
* Supervising paralegals and contributing to team development
* Helping shape a future governance offering for external clients
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE (or equivalent)
* Litigation experience, ideally with exposure to professional indemnity
* Commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset
* Confidence in decision-making and advising under pressure
* Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
* Familiarity with SRA Standards & Regulations
* Tech-savvy with experience in case/document management systems
