Position: Senior Supervising Social Worker
Contract: 12-month fixed term
Salary: Up to £40,081.10 per annum (dependent on experience)

At Foster Care Associates (FCA), we believe in making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly team and help develop our fostering services in the Yorks & Lincs area.
Location:
This is a home-based role, primarily supporting our Foster Parents in Leicestershire and Peterborough, with occasional travel for team meetings and support groups.

Your Responsibilities
* Support foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
* Supervise and monitor the suitability of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
* Provide regular supervision in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
* Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs and resources.
* Ensure compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
* Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams.
* Promote participation of children in agency development and community resources.
* Participate in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
* Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.
What We’re Looking For
* A Social Work qualification.
* Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent.
* Strong report writing skills.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
* Willingness to travel across the Leicestershire/Peterborough/Lincs area.
* A full driving licence.
