Join a respected Top 30 practice as a ACA/ACCA Qualified Financial Accountant within their Business Services division. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and reporting services to a portfolio of financial services clients, with a strong emphasis on technical financial reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS.
The Role
1. Manage a diverse client portfolio, producing accurate statutory accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
2. Prepare detailed group consolidations and support clients through the year-end audit process.
3. Research and draft responses to technical accounting queries, supporting senior team members on complex matters.
4. Liaise directly with clients to resolve technical queries, provide updates, and ensure smooth delivery.
5. Supervise, review, and mentor junior team members, offering feedback and development support.
6. Contribute to client proposals, pitches, and the growth of the team's financial reporting offering.
7. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through regular learning and professional development.
About You
8. ACA or ACCA qualified with experience preparing statutory accounts.
9. Sound understanding of UK GAAP (FRS102) and exposure to IFRS (desirable).
10. Prior experience within practice.
11. Excellent communicator with strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
12. Personable, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
