Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of hire operations, including:
Coordinating equipment availability, allocation, and scheduling
Maintaining accurate records of hire agreements, returns, and extensions
Monitoring equipment utilisation and reporting on hire performance
Liaising with clients, site managers, and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries
Ensuring compliance with safety, legal, and company hire policies
Processing invoices, payments, and hire documentation
Resolving customer queries or disputes related to hire services
Tracking maintenance schedules and coordinating servicing
Supporting sales and operational teams with availability insights as a controller
What we're looking for:
To succeed as a Hire Desk Controller, you'll ideally have:
Previous experience within a hire-based environment (sector flexible)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confidence managing documentation, schedules, and customer queries
