*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our new nursery in Godalming town center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership and management skills will help guide the team in delivering high-quality childcare services.The brand new nursery has a large car park, and is a 2 minute walk from Godalming train station benefitting from a easy commute to the setting.*Responsibilities** Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.* Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.* Support the management team in supervising staff, providing guidance, training, and leadership as needed.* Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning while adhering to health and safety regulations.* Collaborate with parents to support their children's learning journey through regular updates and feedback.*Experience** Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable.* Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide the nursery team.* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.* A valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.* A passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all children is essential.*Qualifications and Skills** Level 3 qualification or soon to complete relevant qualification* Basic Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and how to implement it in everyday practice*Working Hours** Monday - Friday between 7.30am and 6.30pm.* Part time and Full time roles available.* Full time over 4 or 5 days.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contractPay: Up to £29,500.00 per yearExpected hours: 24 – 40 per weekBenefits:* Company pension* Employee discount* On-site parkingWork Location: In person
